After the entrance, there is a steep hill to reach the top of the Palakkayam Thattu.  Palakkayam Thattu is not such a busiest destination. A calm and quiet atmosphere gives us that. Owing to its considerable altitude, this hill station is often visited by low-hanging clouds that render the entire atmosphere misty and fresh. At the top, we will be witnessing a picturesque spot, the view from the top is very beautiful and memorizing. We can see all these sights by sitting on the seat set there.   The location is cleanly and beautifully maintained by the authorities. 

It is a place which attracts people by its beauty and climate, most of the evenings you can witness mist-covered mountains and never-ending greenery with little showers. Apart from that, there is a variety of activities available to attract tourists. There is a variety of activities out there including zipline, swimming pool, tent camping etc. also with the separate ticket charge for this. Engaging in such activities and sipping hot tea from a local tea shop was an unforgettable memory for us.
